Generally, extruders can be classified into metal extruders and plastic extruders, each serving different industrial applications. Below is a brief introduction to the fundamentals of extrusion technology.
Metal extrusion presses are the primary equipment for carrying out metal extrusion processing, which is an important method of plastic deformation under pressure. A key characteristic of this process is that a metal billet can be transformed in a single operation into tubes, bars, and structural profiles in an instant—a capability that is virtually unmatched by any other manufacturing method. Decorative materials for elegant, high-end buildings; aircraft that traverse continents and oceans; spacecraft and space stations that enable humanity to explore outer space; as well as critical structural materials used in railways, subways, light-rail systems, maglev trains, naval vessels, and speedboats—almost all of these applications rely heavily on extrusion processing.

Machine Features
1. The machine features a four-column horizontal structure with the oil tank mounted on top, offering a novel design, neat arrangement, and convenient maintenance.
2. The use of four-point positioning, adjustable centering, and well-designed tooling for the moving crossbeam can significantly reduce production costs.
3. Different extrusion processes can be configured, and both follow-along and fixed-die extrusion methods can be used to produce tubing with various inner diameters.
4. The hydraulic components utilize a high-flow cartridge valve system, offering excellent sealing performance and low temperature rise.
5. Electrical components utilize PLC products, ensuring reliability and responsiveness.
Regardless of the type of extruder, all such machines must comprise the following five principal components: a feeding mechanism, a screw and its drive system, an internal barrel sleeve (commonly referred to as the screw sleeve), a die (commonly referred to as the die head) for controlling and restricting the material flow, and a material-flow shut-off device (also known as the cutting mechanism).
